Ludlow is a lovely market town to spend a few hours, especially if you enjoy good food, independent shops and a proper wander at your own pace. The centre is easy to explore on foot, with historic streets, small galleries and plenty of places to stop for coffee or lunch.
If you like history, Ludlow Castle is a big part of the town’s character, and perfect to take in the countryside views. For something quieter, you can stroll down towards the River Teme away from the main streets.
